Our Story

I'm a mom of 4, married to my best friend, obsessed with Buffalos, and am insanely passionate about preserving my heritage - which is the western lifestyle.

I grew up homesteading before it was cool. My dad grew up on a cattle ranch and farm and I had the privilege of growing up romanticizing the ranching lifestyle because I got to just come for the fun parts.

It instilled a deep passion for agriculture and I pursued it relentlessly.

The goofy guy in the picture there totally derailed my plans.

To be fair, it was totally God.

But he came into my life like a wrecking ball and I ended up living in a city.

I bought a horse that I had no business buying and allowed myself to be taken advantage of to get this horse off of their hands. Looking back, I can't blame myself because there I was reaching for anything I could from my culture.

We worked hard to ensure farming was always in our life.

We have faced so many difficult things together. Financial hardship, financial abuse, depression, debt, addiction, and so much more together.

Through it all, we put our heads down and ran straight into the storm - just like the buffalo.

Once we finally escaped financial abuse, the skills we had spent years harnessing finally had the chance to thrive. & it paid off big time!

We saw our first 6-figures come from farming and we knew we had a talent that more people needed to learn in this world.

The world needs more farmers.

Point blank.

We know how to do it and do it well.

So, Profitable Pioneers was born and our passion is helping farmers learn how to market their farms and thrive in this modern world.
